Ultrasound Fat Cavitation
Low-frequency ultrasound for contouring localised areas.
Ultrasound fat cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound to target localised areas of fat beneath the skin, without surgery. At K-Pro it is used on the abdomen, thighs, buttocks and arms.
Best suited for
- Localised areas you would like to contour
- Anyone who prefers a comfortable, non-invasive option
- Pairing with other contouring treatments
How it works
Low-frequency ultrasound waves are directed into the fat layer beneath the skin, where the energy is designed to affect fat cells, which the body then processes naturally. Cryolipolysis does this with cooling; cavitation uses sound waves instead.
What to expect
- Experience
- A warm, tingling sensation over the treated area. Some people notice a mild, temporary buzzing sound in the ears. There is generally no downtime, and mild redness or warmth may appear briefly. Staying well hydrated is encouraged.
- Sessions
- Treatment is usually a course of sessions, around a week apart, and is often combined with other contouring treatments.
- Results
- Changes develop gradually across a course of treatments, and results vary. It is a contouring treatment, not a weight-loss treatment.
Important information
Ultrasound cavitation is not suitable for everyone. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with pacemakers or metal implants near the treatment area, after recent abdominal surgery, or for anyone under 18. Please speak with K-Pro about your medical history before booking.
