EMS Body Sculpting

Muscle stimulation for tone and definition.

EMS, or electrical muscle stimulation, uses electrical impulses to make the muscles contract. At K-Pro it is used for body sculpting on the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms and calves.

Best suited for

  • Supporting muscle tone and definition
  • Refining the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, arms or calves
  • Complementing training or other body treatments

How it works

Electrical impulses are delivered to the muscles of the treatment area, causing them to contract involuntarily. Repeated contractions are designed to engage the muscles, supporting tone and definition.

What to expect

Experience
Often described as intense crunches or squats happening on their own. It feels strong but not painful, and most people adjust quickly. There is generally no downtime, though mild muscle soreness, similar to after a workout, may follow. Hydration and gentle stretching afterwards are recommended.
Sessions
Treatment is typically a course of sessions over a few weeks, followed by occasional maintenance.
Results
Tone and definition develop gradually across a course of sessions, and results vary between individuals.

Important information

EMS is not suitable for everyone. It is not recommended during pregnancy, with pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices, with metal implants near the treatment area, with certain muscle or nerve conditions or a history of deep vein thrombosis, or for anyone under 18. Please speak with K-Pro about your medical history before booking.
