How it works
Ultrasound energy is focused at precise depths beneath the skin, creating tiny points of heat. This warming is designed to prompt the skin’s natural collagen response, so firmness can develop gradually over the following weeks.
What to expect
- Experience
- Most people feel warm, prickling pulses as the handpiece moves across the skin, with some tenderness over bony areas such as the cheekbones and jaw. There is no broken skin and generally no downtime, although mild, temporary redness or swelling is possible.
- Results
- Change develops gradually over the weeks following treatment rather than all at once. Individual results vary.
Important information
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound is not suitable for everyone. It is not recommended during pregnancy, with pacemakers or metal implants near the treatment area, or soon after dermal filler, Botox or deep chemical peels. Please speak with K-Pro about your medical history before booking.
